Description | | "If children feel safe, they can take risks, ask questions, make mistakes, learn to trust, share their feelings, and grow.” ~ Alfie Kohn
As an individual working in the early childhood field it is important to understand what is developmentally and age appropriate behavior in young children. From tantrums to lack of listening skills, there are a myriad of behaviors that can cause constraints on a learning environment. The ultimate goal of this training is to examine some common misbehaviors seen in the childcare setting and to gain access to a toolkit of strategies for coping with conflict. |
