Description | | Regardless of differences in culture, language, ethnicity or whether they live in the city or on a farm, children absolutely LOVE playing in soil. But our adult brains tell us, “No, it’s so …messy.” It’s been said that “A little bit of dirt is good for everybody.” Let’s explore the benefits of children engaging in outdoor, hands-on play in healthy soil and brainstorm ways to overcome our adult barriers to bringing soil into our Early Childhood programs.
