DescriptionThe focus of art projects in early childhood programs should be on the process, not the finished product.  If your goal is to encourage children’s creativity and allow them to express themselves through developmentally appropriate art experiences, this session is for you!  The presentation will include the characteristics of process-focused art experiences, strategies to lead these kinds of opportunities and a summary of what children do and learn through process-focused art.
