Description | | Early Childhood Coaches, Teachers, Supervisors, and Administrators, join us to examine and reflect on Equity in the Early Years with Dr. Rosemarie Allen!
We are all responsible for ensuring equity for children in families in the early years. What does this mean? What does this look and sound like? How do we intentionally implement this on a daily basis in every facet of our programs? Join us as we challenge ourselves to discover more about becoming intentionally anti-racist to understand the definition of educational equity, and how to create more equitable learning environments for ALL children, families, teachers, and staff.
In this 4-hour intensive training, participants will first learn about the impact of historical inequities and racial trauma in the education system. Additionally, participants will learn to recognize program-wide and classroom inequities, explore specific ways to interrupt these inequities, and plan how to replace daily actions with equitable appropriate practices in all facets of early childhood programs.
