This month: What Every EC Educator
Should Know about Play
Play is something that all
children do—it's fun—and it's also a way in which children learn. Both are part
of developmentally appropriate practice (Copple & Bredekamp 2009). Join us as we discuss
the importance of play in the lives of young children and the need for EC
educators to be play advocates. From choosing the right materials,
setting up inviting environments, and identifying the most important element of
play, this session has it all! |
