Description

There are so many demands, limited time, and diverse aspects to the work of those in an early childhood center leadership roles. Dynamic Director Discussions will build your confidence and offer practical tips along with opportunities to network because developing leadership skills is a journey.

When it comes to understanding children's behavior and supporting staff in how they respond, leaders need realistic and practical strategies. This series of six sessions will help you develop the skills to build a team that works together to meet children's social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Session topics include:
   > What Is Challenging Behavior and Its Impact
   > Developing the Policy / Responding Effectively
   > Facing the Reality - Observation and Documentation
   > Working with the Families
   > Harnessing the Power of Prevention
   > Recognizing the Need for More Help

These sessions are being offered ONLINE via Zoom.  Please make sure you have a working camera, audio capabilities, and are prepared to engage. If you are unable to fully participate or have too many distractions, you will not receive credit for the session. 
The Zoom link will be sent two days prior to each session.

For your best training experience, each participant is asked to join the session individually, in separate locations (to avoid sound issues).
