Description | | Join us for a three-part holistic series on the whole-child approach to teaching. The whole child approach requires educators and providers to learn and gain a deeper understanding of who the children are and the people around them. This allows early childhood professionals to help children reach their fullest potential and support their families in raising confident, well-rounded, curious, and emotionally intelligent children.
Learning how to support and nurture all areas of children’s development and learning - from social-emotional and cognitive skills to literacy, math, and science understanding - is a powerful strategy! Participants will learn how to encourage children’s learning and thinking by being responsive to children’s understandings, interests, and abilities, allowing them to deepen their natural curiosity and their eagerness to discover and learn more. |
