This training will provide educators and caregivers with the tools and knowledge necessary to understand and support young children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other identified special needs, who exhibit challenging behaviors. Participants will learn how to identify underlying triggers for difficult behaviors. Through practical strategies and evidence-based techniques, attendees will develop effective behavior management plans tailored to individual needs. This training will emphasize creating positive and inclusive environments where all children can thrive.  
This session is for those working with children ages 2-8 and is being presented by staff of the Metro Region ASD Network in partnership with ESU #3 ELC Omaha Region.

Este entrenamiento va a proveer educadores y cuidadores con las herramientas y el conocimiento necesario para comprender y apoyar a niños pequeños, incluidos aquellos con Trastornos del Espectro Autista (ASD) y otras necesidades especiales identificadas, quienes demuestran comportamientos difíciles. Los participantes aprenderán a cómo identificar provocaciones subyacentes para comportamientos difíciles. A través de estrategias prácticas y técnicas basadas en evidencia, los asistentes van a desarrollar planes efectivos de manejo del comportamiento personalizados a necesidades individuales. Esta sesión va a poner énfasis en crear un entorno positivo e inclusivo donde todos los niños puedan prosperar.
Esta sesión es para aquellos trabajando con niños edades 2-8 años y será presentada por el personal de la Red ASD de Región de Metro en colaboración con ESU #3 ELC Región de Omaha.
