| Description | | The joy of sharing books is a gift we can give
children from the time they are born. We know why it is
important to read to young children. We
also understand how sharing books influences development in a number of areas. However, as coaches and educators supporting
other adults (educators, parents, etc.) who share books with young children, can
we effectively communicate this information?
This session will convey the “magic” behind helping other adults
understand how children learn to read, the role of caring adults, choosing high quality books, when and how to share
books, and why it is so important. |
