DescriptionIn order to learn, children need to move!  Movement is at the core of how the body builds the brain for learning.  In fact, the brain prioritizes movement on a child’s developmental calendar!  This “book study” (purchasing the book is not a requirement) based on A Moving Child Is a Learning Child: How the Body Teaches the Brain to Think, will explore the learning link between the body and the brain; identify how early childhood educators and caregivers can support it; introduce the Kinetic Scale; plus provide tips and activities - a “here’s why, here’s how” approach!
