Training with Dr.
Ferial Pearson, an inspirational educator who believes that "when
we show compassion for each other, it can bring success to those who are
disadvantaged." There will also be a follow-up session after each of
the three scheduled topics to continue the conversation.
Helpful for educators and
other service providers who work with people who have experienced trauma. This
presentation describes what self-care is and what it is not, explains the
consequences of not paying attention to it, and provides ideas and resources
for how to create your own customized self-care toolbox. This workshop is often
offered alongside the Trauma Informed Education workshop. |
