Training with Dr.
Ferial Pearson, an inspirational educator who believes that "when
we show compassion for each other, it can bring success to those who are
disadvantaged." There will also be a follow-up session after each of
the three scheduled topics to continue the conversation.
Participants learn the
reasons behind why addressing microaggressions is important, how to define and
recognize microaggressions, and four MicroResistance strategies they can use to
cope with, respond to, and/or challenge microaggressions when they happen to
them or others. |
