DescriptionKickstart your week with a refreshing pause! Monday Musings will offer reflective exercises, insightful discussions, and the introduction of simple yet powerful techniques to help you feel inspired and equipped to infuse your Mondays – and every day – with greater positivity and confidence in your vital role as an early childhood educator.

Children love to play in risky ways -ways that combine the joy of freedom with just the right measure of fear to produce the exhilarating blend known as thrill.  Risky play can take many different forms but always involves testing yourself and finding out what happens next.  For children to develop critical thinking and reasoning skills, some form of risky play has to be included in the curriculum. Come find out the many benefits of (and the necessity for) risky play and how to create an environment where educators believe in the philosophy of keeping children as safe as necessary rather than as safe as possible.
