Description

Assessment of children's abilities and knowledge, their approaches to learning, and their strengths, needs, and interests is expected in most early childhood programs. However, many early childhood educators and providers are unsure of how to assess young children's development and learning.
The series will help educators and providers feel more efficient and effective in their work with young children and provide information on:
     · Why do we assess?
     · Developmentally appropriate assessment
     · Tools and approaches for recording information
     · Organizing and interpreting that information
     · Using your assessment information and
     · How to get started
